Kirstyn Lewis is a New Zealand-born, Australian writer whose life and work span five continents, multiple industries, and widely contrasting worlds.


She spent two decades working in New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East in media and entertainment, global events, cultural strategy, and the luxury property and travel sectors before turning to writing.

A former FEI endurance athlete and humanitarian aid volunteer, Lewis has worked with the displaced during the Ukrainian refugee crisis. She has traveled to 80 countries and holds a post graduate degree in Global Hospitality Management from Les Roches, Switzerland.

Drawing on a life of deep, lived experience, Lewis writes with insight, perspective, and a deep emotional intelligence.

Kirstyn is a self-published author and a member of both The New Zealand Society of Authors Te Puni Kaituhi o Aotearoa (PEN NZ Inc) and the Australian Society of Authors.

Her debut memoir, The Past Still Breathes, was independently produced across print, eBook and audiobook formats globally.
